Hoping I can reign in the dispersion after some more reps but based on all out distance alone I'd say that Callaway really has a great model here. It's still early in my testing/playing with the Mavrik SZ model but being some 20 yards longer at times is quite a happy surprise. Performance wise I've hit some of my longest drives ever with the Mavrik SZ, however my dispersion isn't quite as tight as the original Epic SZ. I'm happy to say that they nailed the sound on this model. Knowing that Callaway had addressed that with the Mavrik line I was keen to hear it for myself. I had really disliked the Epic Flash model due to the sound of it alone. I had no plans to buy the Mavrik but the inner desire to chase more yards finally caught up with me and I decided to get one. This is why I have went back and have been playing the original 2017 GBB Epic SZ as of late.
